The Point .Y 200 Scotia Road development, which comprises ten high-specification industrial units, has quickly garnered interest from businesses seeking modern, energy-efficient facilities with excellent transport links following its comprehensive refurbishment.

A strong continued leasing momentum has attracted numerous businesses to the estate. Among the businesses that have secured leases are:

  • Knights plc, a national firm of solicitors that has opened a dedicated and specialist records centre to support their existing 26 offices across the UK.
  • Freedom Fibre, a fibre broadband provider, has acquired space to support its expansion plans following the successful merger with VX Fibre.
  • Compdoor a growing local door manufacturer who are using the space as a new distribution base to serve their factory in Chesterton and created 10 new jobs.
  • Arcflex Hose and Bellows, a specialist manufacturer that will use the facility to increase production capacity. The company was bought out of administration last year by Hydraflex.
  • Avid Controls, an American company launching their entry into the UK as a manufacturer and maintainer of wind turbine components.

The influx of new tenants is expected to generate significant economic benefits for the Stoke-on-Trent area, bringing both job creation and investment. According to Jennie Brown from Point .Y, the estate was designed to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.

“We are thrilled to welcome such a strong mix of tenants to 200 Scotia Road. The rapid uptake of units highlights the demand for high-quality industrial space in Stoke, and we’re confident that these businesses will thrive in their new premises,” Jennie said.

The estate was redeveloped by Point .Y in 2023/24 to regenerate the former Dudson Pottery Factory when it folded into administration in 2019.

The estate has just two units remaining to lease, with one under offer. Interested parties can contact joint leasing agents, Mounsey Surveyors and Harris Lamb.
